NATO will hold an exercise in northern Macedonia from 20 May to 15 June, and this has alarmed Russian media.
Sputnik has learned that American B-1B bombers will be part of the maneuvers. But why is this disturbing, according to Russian Sputnik? Because, as Russian medium writes, these planes were used to bomb the former Yugoslavia exactly 20 years ago.
Military analyst Aleksandar Radic says the exercise will be part of the so-called “The guardian angel is organized and financed by the American Command in Europe, which has more than 27 thousand soldiers.
The main objective of this exercise will be to train US forces and NATO allies to counter any possible crisis around the Black Sea and the Balkans.
According to this analyst, these exercises will include American, Albanian soldiers from Bulgaria, Montenegro and Lithuania. /Periscopi/
