At the age of 73, poet and publicist Abdel Kadol changed his life. He was born on November 10, 1946, in Bukosh in Theranda. It had finished basic and postgraduate literature studies in Pristina.
He has written poetry, humor and publicist writings since he worked in the newspaper “Renaissance”.
It had published poetic volume “Kmisha fire” (“Renaissance”, Pristina, 1998) and the publicistic work “National Hour” (“Ars”, Pristina, 2001.
Since 1993-1998 was the secretary of the Kosovo Albanian Intellectual Forum.
Because of the activity at this forum, he was kidnapped and severely tortured by Serbian secret police.
In recent years he has been engaged in the League of Kosovo Writers (LSHK) as a leading member and editor-in-chief of the literary magazine “Metafora”.
Within the framework of activities in the LSHK has also been the co-ordinator of the international poetry festival “Drini poetry”. The burial of the deceased takes place Wednesday at 1500 o'clock, at the Pristina cemetery in Arberia district.
