England's Football Federation has decided to end the tradition of donating champagne bottles to the FA Cup winner in respect for the footballers' religious beliefs.
England's ruling football body had a tradition of donated a number of champagne bottles to the FA Cup champion. This gift was given to football players in the strip store to congratulate the trophy.
However, after internal discussions in the English Football Federation, the decision was made to leave this tradition in the past so that the players whose religion does not allow them to drink.
Islamic religion forbids drinking alcohol, while in some other religions alcohol drinking is not recommended. Some football players may also be under the legal age for the consumption of this product.

The Federation has decided to donate champagne without alcohol to the strippers so that players can recreate the images of crazy festivities in the strippers.
Watford will face Manchester City in the final of this FA Cup season on May 18th. Watford midfielder Abdolulaye Doucoure, along with the stars of Manchester City, Riyad Mahez, Benjamin Mendy and Ilkay Gundogan, are Muslims.
