Joe Biden has confirmed his candidacy for US presidential elections, ending speculation so far.
Through a video communication, the former U.S. Vice President has declared that the nation's fundamental values, such as democracy, which is all that America has done, are at risk.
Biden joins a tough 2010 race within the Democrats.
He will compete against 19 other candidates, including senators Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders.
