Balotelli has made an amazing start in Marseille, since he joined the club in January, marking seven goals in 10 matches, but the weekend game may be his last for this season.
It is alleged that the Italian attacker struck defender Pabli Castro with his elbow during a ballless duel and therefore broke his nose in Marseille's 2:0 victory against Bordeaux.
After the match judge has not seen the case, the incident will be revised by the Wicked Discipline Commission 1.
If convicted, Mario will be suspended from five to eight matches.
