According to him, Thaci has lost that right because he is not a unifying figure of political subjects.
He has even recalled the moment when, according to him, he has proved he is not president of the country's citizens.
“actually for me, hand in heart, he's not a president. In my opinion, it is not the president of all because the president has his constitutional role to be the president of all Albanians, and also to be a joint of all political subjects, to be a figure of unity. This is the opposite, nor is it the president of all Kosovo citizens, and above all, it is not a figure of unity, it is a divisive figure. Even the moment of his choice has been without opposition, removing the opposition from the Parliament with the police. And from that fact, from that moment on, it's neither my president nor those he's thrown out of, nor the president of those voters of those deputies who crawled out of the Assembly to elect this man as president”, he said.
That move, he says, is that President Thaci has had it beyond personal, as according to Selimi, there are other plans which he is extending to the approach of dialogue, border and territory.
