Now Kosovo Assembly deputy, she still has the coldest images of March 28th 1999, KTV reports.
Among those executed were her mother and two brothers until she related the horror she experienced during the war.
On this day, she saw how 16 members of the Bogujevci family, Duri and Llugaliu were brutally killed, who were massacred in this courtyard in Podujevo by“Scorpions”, members of the Serbian paramilitary unit.
Unmerciful to anyone, members of this unit had spared neither children nor wives.
They survived with severe injuries to five children: Fatosi, Jehona, Freedom, Genc and Saranda Boguyevci.
Saranda survived 16 bullets, and its wounds bear testimony to the past Serb forces' past crimes.
Bogujevci shows that she is disappointed with the work of institutions which have not demanded enough accountability from Serbia for crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
It was taken for healing at Manchester, Great Britain, by charity organisation Manchester Aid to Kosovo.
Members of Manchester Aid to Kosovo have come to the park in Podujevo this year to remember the sacrifice of Kosovars during the 1999 war.
“Our hope is that new life, peace and justice, will be found in the tragic loss in this community and suffering here”, Peam Daste said.
Whole families perished in this slaughter, as did Mimoza's father's family.
Some of the largest massacres in Kosovo by Serbian forces occurred just after the launch of air strikes by NATO.
