Muarremaj submits the petition signed by 11,000 citizens, requires abolishing the Law for the Fate Games

“Today we had a meeting with Kosovo Parliament Speaker where we have submitted the petition and we expect the decision to make the Kosovo Assembly”, Muharremaj said, adding that even Chief Prime Minister Kadri Wessel has welcomed the initiative, as he has invited him to make his own contribution to the commission that will deal with this issue after the government makes the decision to abolish the law.
As for the chances that today the Government at its meeting by 2:00 will make that decision, Suhareka's chairman said there is no official announcement, but expects this to happen.
It's not my case. I'm the mayor and I'm not part of the government. We have submitted the demand of citizens who have demanded that this law be abolished in the Kosovo Assembly. We have officially submitted today, so that my duty as citizen, mayor and the Municipal Assembly is completed today as we wait for the most washed state body to take over the Assembly of Kosovo”, he added.
On the other hand, he has said that this petition is not merited by the mayor of the municipality, nor by the Communist Assembly, but by the citizens.
Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseline has not spoken to the media after the meeting, but he has expressed willingness to support this initiative during the meeting in his office.
Wessel also said that a few days ago the resolution that requires the Government to suspend the activities of all fortune-games.
