This is the complete response of MIE:
Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, reported to the permanent parliamentary Commission for European Integration, among other things, for increasing EU funds for Kosovo. So, not one cent has been lost by these funds, so it has rejected speculation about loss of funds.
With this clarification, we want to announce the opinion that Kosovo has not lost a single cent of EU funds dedicated to the Republic of Kosovo, on the contrary, EU funds have grown and have not been reduced.
With the IPA 2016, Part 2 has been signed the Business Support Agreement for Public Administration Reform, worth 25m euros, while with IPA 2017, Part 2 has been signed the Public Finance Management Support Agreement, worth 25m euros.
Likewise, Minister Hoxha briefed the parliamentary Commission that EU funds for Kosovo have only increased: IPA 2017 has earmarked 73m euros, IPA 2018 has earmarked 90.5m euros, and IPA 2019 over 200m euros.
In addition to IPA funds, Kosovo receives funds even from the Western Balkan Investment Frame (ËBIF), Minister Hoxha noted, in this single round of applications, so round 21 applications in the framework IBIF: The value of infrastructure projects exceeds 250m euros, only the construction of plants for sewage treatment, drinking water plants and water collectors in Kosovo's large and small centres exceed 400m euros.
