Milaim Rama is special.
He is the first Albanian from Kosovo to play for the Swiss representative.
Swiss magnetine “Blic” has conducted an interview with the 43-year-old man, who speaks of his experience and other Albanian football players playing and playing for “Heltimetics”.

Milaim, you were the first Kosovo football player to play Swiss Representative. Did you open the doors to other football players like Shaqiri, Jaka, and others?
Rama: I think so. I was first. Valon Behram came after me, and then other boys. I think a dream came true for them.
They could have played for Albania as well. Have you been able to do this?
Rama: The Albanian Football Federation had contacted me, but that was not concrete. And it was obvious to me that if I received an invitation from Switzerland, I would accept it. I'm proud to have held seven international matches with Switzerland. That's why I have to be grateful from the heart to Coach Cobb Kuhn.
As a child, had you imagined that one day you would play for Switzerland?
Rama: Never in life. I've spent my youth in Kosovo. That's where we played on the street. When I arrived in Switzerland, I started my career in the fifth league, with the team, Interlaken. Then everything went quickly. It was like a miracle. Thun came and transferred me. In 2002 we passed from second to first league.
And you scored the crucial goal of getting laid against Wintertur...
Rama: Yeah, it was my most important goal.

How have you been accepted as Albanian Kosovar in the Swiss National?
Rama: Pretty good. It wasn't about nationalism. I earned the team's trust with my goals.
How did you see the two-headed eagle during the 2018 World?
Rama: Oh, there was a lot of excitement in that game, because the players didn't think about the following. There is great pressure when you score a goal in a match like this. It was a gesture that had made many Kosovars and proud Albanians. Even greater was the joy of victory. I think that if we won Sweden, the eagle's theme would no longer be spoken.
What are you doing today?
Rama: I work in a insurance industry and I'm working on becoming a player manager. Among other things, I still play with Mitchell FC's senior team.
Are you a goalo?
Rama: No, I try to serve others with balls. I've scored enough goals in my career.
