Limaj has said that on March 24th 1999, NATO Forces launched the campaign of shelling on Serbian targets to end the violence, massacres and ethnic cleansing that was taking place on Kosovo citizens by Serb forces.
NATO's air intervention gave way to the country's liberation and ended the Serbian genocide over Kosovo citizens.
On the eve of the 20th anniversary of NATO intervention, we remember and honor all those soldiers who lost their lives during the Kosovo service”, Limaj wrote on Facebook.
Limaj has said that Kosovo citizens will forever be grateful to friendly countries that took a stand for the righteous war of the KLA and our citizens in the most difficult moments.

On March 24th 1999, NATO forces launched a campaign of shelling on Serbian targets to end the violence, massacres and ethnic cleansing that were taking place on Kosovo citizens by Serb forces. NATO's air intervention opened the way for the country's liberation and ended the Serbian genocide over Kosovo citizens. On the eve of the 20th anniversary of NATO intervention, we remember and honor all those soldiers who have lost their lives during the Kosovo service. Citizens of Kosovo will forever be grateful to friendly countries who sided with the KLA's fair war and our citizens in the most difficult moments.
