Haziri has said that differences regarding the principles of negotiations with Serbia have already been spread in the QUIN group, which, according to him, has also contributed to deepening differences among political parties in the country on the issue.
In the QUIN group, we have differences about dialogue, about the principles of negotiations, then even to reflect on the political difference in dialogue. This is not said in many debates, because we are being called into internal principles, but the second cause behind that is political parties. We have five positions within the government. The UN has five different positions”, Haziri said in Debat Plus at Tv Dukajni.
According to him, with the acceptance of the principle of negotiating certain issues in Brussels, state team's chief negotiators for dialogue, Shpend Ahmeti and Fatmir Limaj are in line with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's position.
“Pend Ahmeti, Fatmir Limaj and Hashim Thaci have the same political line because they have accepted the principles of negotiations, where it is said the border issue will be negotiated, and the demarcation of borders. So, they're in the agenda”, Haziri said.
According to him, the Law on Dialogue is unnecessary until Kosovo has the Constitution.
“There is a need for the Law when we have the Constitution. A final solution will be found if the parties go to the table. It is difficult to believe there will be an approach to the” positions, Haziri has said further, as he spoke of major differences between Serbia and Kosovo on the question of dialogue.
According to him, recognition must initially be made between the two countries, and then the border issue will be discussed.
For the first time in Kosovo, we have political parties declaring themselves against changing borders, including my party, not allowing political status to be placed on the table, as it risks opening up. Let's get to know each other, then we do the demarcation of the border. The division that has taken place in the unity group concerns the reposition of Kosovo. The revision of Germany and Britain has also marked the political scene in Kosovo. We're not divided, because we all want dialogue, but under the conditions”, he said away./ P ERISCOPIA
