Kosovo's Basketball Federation backs nearly 250 thousand euros

MKRS Minister Kujtim Gashi has said this support has resulted from the successes achieved in the basketball sport.

During my visit to the Kosovo Basketball Federation, I signed co-operation agreements for financial support worth 248 thousand and 472 euros. This support comes as a result of the successes Kosovo has brought to basketball, especially at the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 this historic period for basketball.

With Federation Chairman Arben Fetah agreed on the possibility of building a new gym in Pristina, an important capital project for basketball and other sports. As minister, the MKRS also expressed readiness to start building the new gym, which will meet the needs and requirements of Pristina clubs, but also the FIBA criteria, and for that, I asked the FBK to coordinate with the Pristina Community to determine the location of the current sports gym.
