European Integrity Ministry lost 14m euros from European Union

Members of the European Integration Commission have made a series of criticisms against European Integration Minister, Gift Hoxha, for failing to implement the National Programme to implement the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (PKZMSA) and the Agency for European Reform (ERA), which has resulted in the loss of tens of millions of euros from the European Union. MP Armend Zemaj stressed that [...]
MP Armend Zemaj stressed that Kosovo has lost 14m euros for failing to implement 11 conditions against the European Union, and that the ministry has failed to meet 60 per cent of the measures for the SAA.
There's also loss of funds under that if we refer to this report. So 11 conditions required have not been met and here by 25m euros during 2018 Kosovo has lost 14 million”, Zemaj stressed.
LDK MP Ismet Beqiri stressed that it is important to say that elections in the European Parliament, corruption and organised crime allay hopes that there will be visa liberalisation soon.
Our “Pokus should be in this direction to fight crime and corruption, because they do not want to add another country where there is a lack of crime and corruption... It's really funny today to hear that someone has been arrested for 20 euros, while the millionaires in us remain uncondemned, and that's disturbing”, Beqiri said.
MP Milaim Zeka from the Social Democrat Initiative stressed there have been many lies by the authorities that there will be visa liberalisation. Zeka has asked the Ministry of Integration to meet EU and US requirements.
It's good to get tired in the future of fulfilling our obligations and duties assigned by citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and secondly by the European Union and the United States that have been given certain duties... We are 20 Kosovo Parliament deputies on charges and charges. And now the question arises, if the president has taken over the state prosecutor's knot and if President Thaci uses Alexander Lumez with a lot of other prosecutors to file an indictment on whoever wants to... There is no accusation against an MP or a politician for political revenge”, Zeka said.
While, Commission Chairman Blerta Deliu-Codra referring to the latest case of a member of the Telekom Board, has asked Minister Hoxha to stop hiring on boards that are political.
In this regard, MP Milaim Zeka has acknowledged that the case of Board member in Telekom Osman Ejupi, who has employed his four children in the company is among the NISMA ranks.
“We, the minister as criteria, have had no rare de politicisation of public enterprise boards. It has been one of the serious concerns addressed in the country report, so such cases should no longer be repeated, and it should be a priority for rule of the law not to have an arbitrator as it did with the last case”, Deliu aldure said.
Meanwhile, European Integration Minister Literacy Hoxha has called the loss of millions of euros from the EU speculations.
Hoxha, among other things, has said that as far as the tax is concerned with Serbia, this minister has not received any response that may have links with liberalisation.
While on the issue of visa liberalisation, Hoxha has said it is not the fact that this minister has not made serious commitments.
He has acknowledged, however, that some of the priorities of the ERA and SAA have not been implemented, but that he expects to be implemented in the process.
The remaining priorities should be consistently implemented in the ERA 2, which is a document that roughly covers the pillars -- good governance and rule of law, education or competitiveness, as well as economic development or free market... Kosovo has not lost a single cent from the European Union”, Hoxha said.
MP Fatmire Kolcak from Vetevendosje said the Ministry of Health and Education are at the bottom of the list for implementation of SAA measures. She added that Kosovo has failed in the integration plan.
