Albania had suffered multiple hits since the match, when Thomas Strakosha was delayed by the plane, while Coach Panucci decided to suspend him from the team for this month's two games. The next blow was multiple injuries, which had to invite other players.
Italian decided to invite Emir Lenjan, but the latter decided to abandon the National and refuse the invitation.
Despite having started the meeting well, Albania's team took a goal in 21 minutes, when Gjimshii erred in defence, while Burak Yilmaz gave the advantage to guests.
Next, Panucci's team tried to even the outcome, but suffered another blow when Hakan Calhanoglu (55) sealed the score 2-0, following a lack of co-ordination in the defanzi stage.
This was Albania's 14th match under Panucci's direction, until he suffered 8 losses, 2 drawbacks and accomplished four victories.
As the calls for his dismissal continued today by fans present at the stadium, why this had been sought long ago. However, Armando Duka decided to trust him for the Euro 2020 qualifying matches. /Periscopi/
