In October last year, when Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli had travelled to Czechia for a visit, five people from his support staff had gone with him.
During this visit, his staff has spent some 3,500 euros just for accommodation and hire.
During the last quarter of 2018, according to the Framework Expenses Report, which is owned by “Koha Ditore”, Wessel's staff has spent nearly 60 thousand euros on travel abroad. On the other hand, for the same time period, the Parliament's deputies have spent nearly 105 thousand euros.
In all, last year the Assembly has spent nearly 9m euros on wages and wages, subsidies and travel in and abroad, as well as other services.
A review of the general-digit report has been presented Wednesday at the Commission's meeting for Board and Finance. MPs have specifically criticised subsidies spending, as well as the spending of the president's cabinet, Kadri Wessel, for travel abroad.
