Sud: Trump orders Japan to nominate for Peace

The Japanese prime minister has refused to deny claims that he nominated American President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, Periscopi translates.

Mr. Trump said Friday he received a beautiful <x0...cope of a letter sent by Shinzo Abe to the Nobel Committee.

The comment caused much criticism in Japan and Mr. Abe was asked if he had done so in parliament.

The Japanese newspaper Asah Shumbin also claimed that the Japanese prime minister had nominated Mr. Trump at the request of the latter, citing unidentified sources.

In response to them, Mr. Abe said: “refused to comment, since the committee does not allow the recommendation to be declared.” /Periscopi
