About 44% of Albanians and 37 per cent of Serbs are pro-entering the Serbian language as electives in schools.
This data has been released in the publication of the Centre for Social Initiative survey with support of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Great Britain Embassy in Pristina.
According to this survey, a worse situation is in young people.
Only 4 % of young Albanians know Serbian language in part, while 96 percent of them do not know Serbian at all.
Such a situation is also in terms of young people's desire to learn Albanian or Serbian.
The Albanian language wants to be known by over 71 percent of Serbs, but only 62 of them are young, followed by Danas. Serbians, however, want to know 73 percent of Albanians, but only 27 percent of young people do.
