Ramush Haradinaj has remained without support in his request to organise an international conference on reaching an agreement with Serbia.
Powerfully, this has been disputed by American Ambassador Philip Costnet in an interview for KTV.
Ambassador Costett has said this would open the doors to discuss Kosovo's independence and could include Russia in the process, KTV reports.
No one from the Prime Minister's office has agreed to address the matter. Meanwhile, the head of the Parliament, Kadri Veselini, and the party leading the PDK, has called it a real risk of opening Kosovo's status, calling an international conference.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo requires that it give up statements calling for an international conference on Kosovo. This idea contains the real risk of reopening Kosovo's final status, finally resolved with Kosovo's declaration of independence on February 17th 2008, as well as the danger of Russia's evolution in the process. ”
But, of no concern, does not see the call of an international conference, Naim Rashit of the Balkan Policy Research Group.
He says that if an agreement exists over 95 per cent ready with Serbia, such a conference would be a positive act.
The two opposition parties -- the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje -- have also rejected the idea of holding this conference, as, according to them, would bring a deterioration of independence.
