Despite the reasons, getting back to work after a period of rest can be quite challenging. Although there may be employers who reason on the causes of someone's rest and offer another occasion, there are those who are not too determined to give another chance. This is because, in most cases, pause means that we can also remain behind in many areas related to activity that we exercise or in general careers.
In an interview given for the employment portal Kosova Job, the director of human resources at the Meridian Corporation, Abdulkerim Ratkoceri has said it is very important that those who stop from getting fully out of work but are constantly productive, including investment in themselves, thus find it easier to get back to work.
“What is very important for returning persons, especially those who pause over a long period or who have just wanted to change something they haven't found themselves, have not been able to be part of a company or a business is constantly to learn new things, not to let them stay behind with time or invest anything in themselves“, Ratkozer said.
He also gives some advice to people who may have been paused and are struggling to get started.
“It's not the end of the world, invest something in yourself, learn something new. Never let your brain sleep, always engage in something new, read books, read articles, see where other businesses are, learn any kind of field”
He also spoke of lehonia rest, which he said even women who go on vacation should not be completely dismissed from work so that it can no longer affect their poor performance.
It's a little different because it's actually a vacation which is legally defined. All businesses have understanding in that regard because when an employee becomes a mother is another phase of life, but it's good to keep busy and not be completely separated from the work processes they have. In reality, caring for a child is a sacred thing, it's a big thing, but on the other hand they have to be careful to keep learning and not just be left behind with knowledge so that when they come back they don't have problems”
Meanwhile, people who have had a crisis during their work must, according to him, first analyze themselves and see where the mistake has been by re-exerting that these people should also find a motive to go on.
It's very important that when you have a crisis, you first inspect yourself and see if it's been your problem, why it's up to the crisis. There's a “saying you're sitting in a chair and you say the world has turned its back on me but you're a villain” So first, you need to analyze yourself as to why you've come to that crisis. Usually seizures occur when a person stays in a position and doesn't learn anything new, there is no investment perhaps even from the developing company, which comes to what creates a monoton, where the person no longer finds himself. One person, if he has paused for a long time, necessarily needs to find the motive by learning new things, time moving fast, every day lost without learning anything is going back and failing to himself”, he stressed.
From his experience in human resources, Ratkocer stressed that people who face difficulties in finding a job or who are dissatisfied usually see it as the easiest solution to their flight from their homeland, but according to him this is wrong. He suggests investing in something where everyone can make their contribution, since, according to him, companies in Kosovo have already become aware of and do not function with nepotism but are constantly looking for quality people.
According to him, rest over a period of time is best argued if individuals have wanted to develop academically, follow different training in professional establishments, or have wanted to invest in themselves to better prepare for the challenges ahead of them in their careers.
