In a statement, the disciplinary committee of the world's leading football body said Chelsea would be banned from “the registry of new players at the national and international level for the next two full and successive periods of registration”.
FIFA has also fined Chelsea 460,000 ($599000) and has given them a 90-day deadline “to adjust the situation of new players in question”.
