Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, co-director of the State Delegation for Talks with Serbia, has said the Government of Kosovo has made serious efforts for the first time to join and build a consensus as wide as possible in dialogue.
Limaj said that from the beginning the effort of this government has been to give consensus opportunities. He added that the idea and the task of all is to turn this process back on track. Limaj said Kosovo is not under time pressure, but is under pressure to reach a good agreement.
This agreement provides peace and security. Peace in the region is all in charge. From our political experience every dialogue has titles. The Rambouillet Conference had a title. Brussels has had the title dialogue for normalising relations. Now the title should be the dialogue for Kosovo recognition. We go for recognition of nothing else”, Limaj said at a conference organised by the Research Institute for European Affairs and Development, titled “The People's Voice about the Great Fairinales between Kosovo and Serbia”.
Furthermore, he has said that if Serbia is not ready to enter into the dialogue for recognition, then Kosovo can wait.
Limaj says there can be no normalisation of reports between the two countries as long as there is no mutual recognition.
The political forces in Kosovo must put party interests aside, but become together. As a state delegation, we have made a document that has received support from the heads of institutions. The Assembly now has it in its hand and decides to have a voice. We're ready for dialogue. What Kosovo loses is on the run from the” table, Limaj has added.
Limaj has said Serbia's recognition on the part facilitates and enables in realising all agreements that are in the interest of the two countries.
Kosovo will not accept at any price to tear down and negotiate the country's sovereignty. Whoever expects such a thing, expects a wrong”, is finished Limaj.
