KEK and KOSTT workers protest before government tomorrow, seek to be removed from the Law of Salaries

Objections to the Law of Salaries are continuing following his adoption in the Assembly. While the Law on Salaries has been submitted for decree to President Hashim Thaci, against this law tomorrow by 11:00 before the Government of Kosovo will protest workers of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) and those of COST, who are [...]
KEK New Union of Workers Deputy Chairman Nedzat Llumnica tells Kosovo that as far as the protests have come because they have not been given any clarification as to whether they are in the salary law or not, though they know they are involved.
They have sent a letter for clarification to the Ministry of Economic Development and Public Administration.
Llumnica: We have received no response from relevant institutions
And we haven't actually been given any answers in writing except the media, and we've actually seen that we're in the law on wages establishing companies, which, with capital of over 50 percent of state capital, enter into this law, and we've noticed, but something else has been observed by the chairman of the commission, Nat Hasani in parliament and impressed us with any interpretation so we've decided on Thursday's” protests, Lnica said.
KEK trade union has indicated that if KEK workers continue to be part of the Law of Salaries, Kosovo will risk remaining in the dark.
Llumnica: If we continue to be part of our Quadre law, they will leave.
We take our salaries from our perspiration, from the production of electricity not from the state budget... if this is done with the limit of salaries from 1 to 7, we have a very high range that we cannot run differently, except that lower level, and our quotas run away, whether we want to leave KEK and de-fact Kosovo, even without strikes, he said.
Support for protests KEK workers have also received from their colleagues working in COST.
COST Union Chairman Adem Gashi said that the workers of this company should not be included in the Law of Salaries because they do not harm the country's budget.
He under a proposal for Kosova Prees has shown fears that in the event there are no changes to relevant amendments to this law many engineers will abandon work.
Gashi: If nothing is taken, the strike will continue
“If nothing is taken, we will continue with further steps to look at strikes... we think that the law has been violated, we don't think to change the law, but some amendments will intervene to the law to return to the Assembly and review the law... Such a law hurts us because we like COST are a very retaliatory company, and if they bring us into the new Law of wages I believe that a large part of the engineers, professionals will leave COST-I<1>, Gashi said.
Calls for failing to decree the wage law by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci have both trade unions as sisters.
Tomorrow, protests have also warned the workers of the Correcting Service until today the Air Traffic Control Union Association, through an hour-long strike, have expressed dissatisfaction with the wage Law.
We remember that disgruntled with the Law on Rewards has been expressed in some public sectors. Their discontent has resulted in protests and strikes, which stand out those of teachers and doctors.
