KH Istog remains in Istanbul, plane did not travel long to Spain

Istog's handball players spent almost the day at the airport in Istanbul on Friday, following the troubles that have been presented for their trip to Spain. The trip has had to take place from Skopje to Istanbul and later from Istanbul to Malaga, Spain.

But because of bad weather, the trip from Skopje has been delayed by about two hours, and the Istog delegation has thus been unable to catch the plane to Malaga in Istanbul. Several possibilities have been watched, but at the end of the evening hours players and trainers have been placed at the hotel, and Istanbul's journey, Malaga, will take place Saturday morning.

In Malaga, the Istog delegation is scheduled to arrive at 12:15. After spending over two hours in Skopje and six more at the airport in Istanbul, Istog players have had signs of fatigue, while they await another trip Saturday, when the first match is played.

After the long journey and the shortages Istog has, success in Spain is slightly possible. Itstogu on Saturday will play two matches under an eighth of the Supreme Challenge Cup (Chaleng Cup) final, with the Rincon Fertilidad Malaga team. With club deals, both matches are performed in Alhaurin de la Torre, Spain. So the first match is played on Saturday, 6:30, and the second on Sunday from 11:00.

Istog has achieved historic success for this club with the crossing among the 16 best teams of the Challenge Cup. In the third circle, he had eliminated the Italian team Casano Magnago, which he had won both matches in Pec.

The Spanish team Rincon Fertilidad Malaga is worth much better than Italian, while even Istog is not on the team because of his injuries. This led to more caution in Istog's forecasts, and even more cautious, to the trouble of travel. It's been promised maximum commitment by girls.

If the player troubles weren't enough, we'll show up tired at the match after the long way. At the place we're playing, we're only going to arrive a few hours before the first match, if nothing changes in the meantime,”, Istog coach Faruk Shala declared.

Itstog is only appearing for the second time in the European Cup, but it has immediately taken a big step.
