One of them is Edmund Smajli. He's just one step away from becoming a military pilot.
Last September he was sworn in for one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, the Embry-Redle Aeronautic University, in Daytona Beachway Florida, which was told to be a sign of difference and a life-defining event.
According to a video from the graduation ceremony in its Facebook social network account, the Dallas Smajli family announces it will also mark on its calendar February 23rd, 2019, as the great day of another family joy to share this joy with the Albanian community in the US.
During the opening ceremony of this new journey, as the pilot of this great challenge, Edmond has expressed himself:
And I want to thank the Embry-Ridle Aeronautic University, which gave me this golden opportunity, without which students like me would have a very difficult time making their dreams”, and it adds, that “I believe I will one day reward this country for what it has done for Albania, but also for the freedom and independence of Kosovo<3>.
Edmond is from Cline, and lives in Dallas Texas, the son of the prominent activity of the Albanian community in Texas, Ismet Smajli, Secretary General of the World Union of Albanian Business in Diaspore.
