DP calls police call ridiculous and criminal against violence in protest

Albania's Democratic Party has reacted sharply Friday after calling police on organisers to distance itself from voices encouraging violence in the February 16th protest. State police said they have also managed information that certain persons -- with criminal records or previously convicted of grave criminal acts -- are prepared to practice violence in protest, but the DP asserted with irony that in protest there will be no Rama, Dako, Tahiri, Prancea, Frocu, Bush, Bardhe, and Roshi, Cyrbja, Xaknuri.
“Police calls for us to distance ourselves from those who encourage violence or from people with serious criminal records are as ridiculous as they are criminal”, said Secretary General PD, Gazmend White, at a media exit from the blue headquarters, reports TvKlan.
“The Democratic Party has never provoked violence, nor has there been crime people in its ranks! People with serious criminal records are not among us, they are not among the protesters, they are in government and government.”
White said Prime Minister Rama is preparing an antimiting in Vlora.
“Rama and Damian Gjiknuri will be in Vlora, in an antimiting, where the administration is forced to participate”, Bardi said, adding that “has a person linked to crime, who is interested and prepared to practice violence. His name is Edi Rama”.
