Agron Demi, currently political analyst at the GAP institute, has commented on the dismissal of Agriculture Minister Nenad Ricalo, who was dismissed as a condition of the Social Democrat Party.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, today, dismissed Rikason only because the dismissal was conditional on the PSD in order to vote on the 2019 budget and not on scandals. Demi says Rikalos scandals are nothing more specific than that of other members of this government, such as Paul Lekaj, Shyqiri Bytyqi, Behgjet Pacolli, and Besim Beqaj.
Koha Ditore has reported that a specific “size of the Ministry of Agriculture has illegally sent three million euros to several businesses, of which shareholders have people linked to politics.
Demi, in a Facebook post, says Rikalo did not belong to the ministry because of millions of abuses with the state budget. But, as he writes, Rikalo's abuses are not more specific than other members of this government.
“Pal Lekaj at the Ministry of Infrastructure donated 53m euros to Bechetl&Enka in the name of delays, while this company is not being penalised when it has reached over a month when the highway should be completed. But Lekaj's ministry is continuing the monopoly in its counterpart, is hiring the deputy minister's company on the Gjilan highway, keeping highway contracts in violation of court decisions... Better off than Rikalo is not the minister of August, Bytyqi, who has politicised the ministry in all and misused the ministry's budget in dozens of cases. Remove the best is not Behgjet Pacolli to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has turned the ministry into production of diplomatic scandals and is further undermining diplomatic service. This Government has the following minister Besim Beqaj and “Protos”, PTK destroyer and the main responsibility for the forgiveness of four hydropower plants.
