“Export of goods in November 2019 was worth 35.3m euros, while imports of 297.6m euros, which is a 1.9 per cent export increase and 8.3 per cent import compared to the same period in 2018. According to key export data, 32.5 percent of exports make up basic metals and articles, 14.1 percent plastic, rubber, and articles from them, 9.8 percent prepared foods, drinks and tobacco, 7.6 percent mineral products, 6.3 percent plant products, 5.9 percent machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, and 5.8 percent produced. In contrast, 13.7 percent of the mineral products, 13.5 percent machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, 12.4 percent prepared food, drink and tobacco, 10.5 percent basic metals, and the articles of these products, 8.6 percent of the transport equipment, 6.9 percent of the chemical industry, and 6.5 percent of its plastic, rubber, and articles of”, reports ASC.
With the EU, Kosovo deals in export with 15.6m euros, while imports are worth 141.6m.
Kosovo's <x0ports in EU countries reached 15.6m euros, or 44.1 per cent of total exports, with a 48.8 per cent increase. Italy's main export partners in the EU are 14.1 percent, Germany with 10 percent, the Netherlands with 4.6 percent, and Great Britain with 2.2 percent. While imports stood at 141.6m euros, or 47.6 percent of total imports, with a 12.5 per cent increase. Imports of high turnout were from Germany at 13.5 percent, Italy at 5.5 percent, Bulgaria at 3.8 percent, Slovenia at 3.3 percent, and Poland at 3.3 percent”, the report follows.
With CEFTA countries, the situation is slightly better, with 13.7m euros in exports and 41.3m euros in imports.
Kosovo exports with other countries reached 6m euros, or 17.1 per cent. Most important of these export partners are worth mentioning Switzerland by 9.1 percent, and Turkey by 3.7 percent, while imports reached 114.6m euros, or 38.5 percent. Countries with the highest import turnout in the group were Turkey by 15.9 percent and China by 9.8 percent. /Periscope
