Spahiu: Compromise is key to new government

Ambassador Spahiu told Voice of America he hopes that current political developments in the country will be overcome in the best possible way.
“Need a dialogue, a consensus is needed between parties and political subjects aimed at being in future governance. Compromise is the key to both everything and I hope that there will be a rational resonance and that the government and Kosovo will be created as soon as possible, and that it will go on”, Ambassador Spahiu said.
He says political subjects should in no way allow the country to be harmed in any form.
Spahiu, who served as Kosovo's first ambassador to the United States after declaring independence on February 17th 2008, today promoted the book, titled “The first session”, which describes the period of establishing Kosovo Embassy in the US and relations between the two countries.
Participants at the ceremony praised the role of Ambassador Spahiu and Kosovo's important relations with the United States of America. / VoA/
