So this is basically equivalent to a 30-minute walk.
But this does not mean that you will enjoy the benefits of fresh air in the wild by staying at home.
To reach that conclusion, scientists have measured heart rate, oxygen, and carbon dioxide emissions while someone was watching horror movies.
By the end of the study, the results had shown that the number of calories burned had increased markedly to the end of the film.
While, according to participants, the most frightening film has been that of director Stanley Kubrick “The Shining”, where on average it had influenced viewers to burn over 184 calories for 2 hours and 26 minutes.
