The deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) -- currently acting minister of Infrastructure and Transport Paul Lekaj -- has said that personal deals by Vetevendosje Movement (LV) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) are hindering the reach of the agreement to establish new institutions released from the 6 October elections.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, he has said these interests of these two political subjects could lead the country to new elections.
It is pointless that the two political subjects who have won the election -- the first and second subject -- have no agreement yet to establish institutions. We are expecting that in the coming days they will agree and create institutions, but I see that between two political subjects the market of individuals assigned to how they can line up in high state positions and not engage to work for the benefit of the country's 87x1> citizens, Lekaj said.
According to Lekaj, this would be depressing for citizens.
He has invited LV and LDK to view national interest and give up their close party interests and to form new institutions.
