Meta after meeting with Kurt: Government formed sooner

Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, together with members of the Headship, Glauk Konjufca, Albulen Haxhiu, Rexhepi and Jelal Svecla, on Wednesday hosted the delegation from the Republic of Albania, led by Albanian President Ilir Meta accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Kemal Minxhozi, advisers, Ilir Tower and Flamur Gashi, and other associates.

President Ilir Meta reporting on the situation and damage in the Republic of Albania after the series of earthquakes that struck the country thanked for the solidarity of the people of Kosovo and the organisation of the Vetevendosje Movement, which was mobilised for several days in the collection of aid that headed towards affected areas.

The leader of the emergency staff within the Vetevendosje Movement, Jedal Svecla, has recently announced President Meta about the mobilisation of its Movement and Centres throughout Kosovo to launch aid for earthquake-affected citizens in Albania.

Svechla announced that through three convoys, some 400 tons of aid, including food, clothing, and resources have been sent to the affected areas.

VV chairman Albin Kurti announced President Meta's performance of talks that are under way with the LDK towards the creation of the future ruling coalition, as well as the priorities and tasks the incoming government await.

The president of the Republic of Albania stressed the need to establish government and new institutions as soon as possible.
