This is because Ireland's over 65-year-old population has grown in this country, as well as the overall healthy way of life of the Irish people, China reports.
Ireland's general population has increased ever since the 1980s. People over 65 are coming, increasing by 19 percent between 2011 and 2016.
The Central Bureau of Statistics (OSHC) even predicts that in just 30 years, the number of people instead of 65 years of age and above would have increased from 6,29,800,000 registered in 2016 to about 1.6 million.
In addition, over 250,000 people in Ireland are expected to have over 80 years of age by 2031.
Because of these expected increases, the Social Programme for the Moshuar was established and operates for more than a decade.
Its goal is to focus every area of local authorities in Ireland on creating a friendly environment toward the elderly as best they can, making aging easier on it.
Some of the works being done to ensure this include building residence developments, libraries, airport instructions, bus - road instructions, and car parking facilities.
This programme also aims to keep people as active as possible, not only physically but also in coma.
