Some football fans are already fed up and want the system out of use.

Of course, that's not what policymakers want to do. Earlier this week, International Football Board President (IFAB) Patrick Nelson said they are seeing the opportunity to improve the use of VAR.

By “Sky Sports”, an option under discussion, is to allow judges to communicate directly with fans to explain the decision.

This includes the option for the judge to make a brief explanation for fans at the stadium. Fans certainly could not hear officials discussing, but would receive an explanation about the final decision.

That would be a rule similar to what is currently being used at the NFL.
