Argentinian media suggest the two players are Federico Marin and Walter Peres, both 21.
They were arrested in Cordoba today, after yesterday the victim denounced the event. The police arrived at one of the hotels where they seized phones and condoms. According to the Argentina Penal Code, such a criminal act is punishable by 6-15 years in prison.
The Athletics Club reacted after this news and promised it would take all necessary measures if the club's two players were found guilty.
“Taking the lead from the latest event, the Atletico Horracan club confirms its stance against any criminal act against women. If media versions are confirmed, the club will not hesitate to implement all stricter disciplinary measures against persons involved”, it is written in the Armenian team's communique.
