Democracy in Action ( DnV has today held the table with the “election process 2019: The lessons learned and the road ahead of”, where the final report of monitoring the 6 October parliamentary elections has been published and the media monitoring report during the election campaign of these elections.
The main findings and recommendations derived from these reports have been discussed, as well as the necessity of completing the election reform process is highlighted as preconditions for overcoming the challenges recorded in these elections.
Part of this table was German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt, who said the election process has been well organised, even though according to him there is room for improvements.
Heldt has confirmed that the election process has taken too long, and many tasks await the country.
The German ambassador has thanked volunteers and all NGOs who have monitored election day.
My wish would be for us from the international committee that the current future Assembly be engaged within these recommendations. There are many tasks waiting for us. Election day has been quite a good day for Kosovo”, Heldt has said.
