Fitim Ladrovci declared innocent, accused of supporting “jihadists” and posted promotional writings for terrorist acts

After reading the indictment by prosecutor Habibe Salihi, the accused stated that he feels innocent of the work that is placed on him, reports “Justice Trust”.

I do not accept the criminal act I am accused of, because the form I'm presented in the indictment and as charged I consider innocent”, accused Ludrovci said.

After the accused's plea for contempt of impeachment, the chairman of the court, Valon Kurtaj, has announced that in the term of 15 days, he may apply for impeachment and rejection of evidence found in the indictment.

Otherwise, in this pre-accused hearing, the defender of the accused Ládrovci, attorney Arsim Bilal, had sought exemption from the public and journalists.

“Penal Procedure Code, where we have to do with the exception of the public, respectively. I'm saying this by the fact that we're dealing with the personal life of my defenders from the fact that as it is known by the media, the news has been made to say that it's only to prove and gain in their material terms, namely, the news of the same statement that was issued two years ago in a Londonn journalism agency and that our newspapers and portals, the previous statement, combined and connected with the last case, so on the basis of that reason we ask you to exclude the public, say, "The lawyer"

This request is supported by the accused Laldrovci, who said it is in the interest of justice for there to be no public, with the reasoning that will be mentioned many names among other people who had threatened him.

However, such a request has been rejected by Judge Kurtaj, since the same had been rejected by prosecutor Salihi, arguing that only reading the indictment and not seeing the accused's reasoning that other names would be mentioned in this examination.

Also, during this session, attorney Bilall has proposed that he be protected, to become a psychiatric object because his mental state is not good.

I wanted to reconfirm the fact that at the hearing session for the detention assignment that this case in relation to my defense is a much more specific case in what is published in the media and portals. I say this with the fact that given the fact that Fitim Ladrovci has returned from the war grounds and after his return to Kosovo, his case has been greatly overlooked by the Kosovar Intelligence Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, because they have been obliged to resocialise and never received any psychiatric or psychological examination. So we're looking for the comfortable court under 508 Penal Procedure Code, which initially includes Fitim Ladrovcii, becoming a psychiatric observim because his mental state is not good”, said lawyer Bilalli, wrote the allegiance.

Such a request has been supported by the accused, Ludrovci, who said that following his return to Kosovo in 2014, even though he had sought assistance from state institutions, he had not been offered adequate assistance.

In this regard, Judge Kurtaj has taken a decision that approved the proposal that accused Ludrovci be sent to psychiatric health examinations near competent organs that conduct psychiatric examination.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, November 19th, 2019, has filed charges against Fitim Ladrovci for criminal work “intent on conducting terrorist acts”, by Article 134 of the KPRK.

He is accused of pushing for terrorist acts since 2018 through the social network on Facebook, using a post, he has expressed joy and supported recent terrorist attacks in churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, where at least 139 people lost their lives, including 45 children.

The indictment reportedly comments on “with Allah's help, the children of Unmet attacked where it most hurts, in churches and hotels in Sri Lanka and tomorrow they will attack again, but this time in Paris, London, Washington and New York. Always according to the indictment, accused Ludrovci has reportedly posted written-like videos, photos and comments, openly expressing support and sympathy for the terrorist organisation “ISIS”, through which posts express hatred toward other members of the community and propagans Islam, so that from published photos representing “Gihadis” and “Suicide attacker”, where he has commented in order to promote the act of terrorism, causing serious danger for such acts to be performed.
