It was actually FIBA Europe that nominated it. FBK between the two National Federations of Europe to be the winner of 300 Molten cannons (size 4, 5 and 3⇩) to encourage FBK to continue with the excellent work you're doing especially with young people.
Balls will be sent from the IBF, which operates under FIBA headquarters in Geneva. This foundation is responsible for the development and masovisation of basketball among young people, mainly Mini-Basketball throughout all countries of the world.
While Kosovo's Federation of Basketball Secretary-General Elvira Dushku expressed great happiness in the fact that the work of Kosovo's Basketball Federation is being praised.
This help with the balls has come at the right time, because the Kosovo Basketball Federation in the coming year will begin with new projects such as Mini-Basketball and children's 3,5003 game. We are very motivated and willing to work in that direction to enable all young boys and girls of different ages to practice basketball. At the beginning of next year in co-ordination with the primary schools of Kosovo municipalities, and in co-operation with the responsible Associations, we will be distributing cannons in schools, because our interest in children ages 5 to 10 years having the opportunity to practice basketball with balls of their size, and baskets of their size. We are very excited about the new projects ahead of us in next year”, Dushku said.
It should be noted that days ago the Kosovo Basketball Federation has admitted to FIBA Europe 125 balls of size 6, so for girls under the FIBA Europe Girls Programme and campaign “Her World, Harry Rules” project.
Even these FBK balls will be distributed in co-ordination with the Associations in the Kosovo Community and the balls will be dedicated to primary schools.
