(7 years ago)The Durres Chamber of Commerce and Industry makes 8 concrete proposals to the Council of Ministers as emergency measures to be undertaken with the aim of improving the situation in which the Durres district businesses are located affected by the November 26th earthquake. The proposals are:
- The co-ordination between the Chamber of Commerce and Emergency Staff for sending expert groups to verify damage to business objects and certified buildings with the aim of restarting work safely for entrepreneurs.
- Fiscal ease for businesses in Durres County, suspending all fiscal obligations for a period of 3 years, according to Italy, Greece, Turkey (tax profit, social insurance, T) model VSH, local taxes, etc.
- VAT compensation for builders and fascists
- Lobbying through the Bank of Albania for suspending payments on loan installments for a period of one year.
- Lobbying through the AMF Financial Monitoring Authority for the rapid delivery of secured business funds.
- The suspension of activity for damaged businesses as long as the state of emergency lasts (even if there are tax obligations)
- To be known as the expense of all the Donances subjects give to different NGOs or their employees (not just those done at e-albania portals).
- Organising an open business forum where representatives of central and local institutions are invited, as well as Durres district businesses.
