The Spanish has triumphed in the US Open and French Open, while the Serb at the Austrian Open and Wimbledon.
At the Australian Open, Djokovic was unstoppable, and in the final, he beat Nadal with ease, 3:0 in sets: 6-3, 6-2 and 6-3.
Meanwhile, in women's competition, Japanese Naomi Osaka beat Czech Petra Kvitova 2-1 in sets 7-6, 5-7 and 6-4.
