Tahiri says the right to proposal for chairman of the Parliament belongs only to the first party, the Vetevendosje Movement.

Tahiri voiced optimism that the agreement would be reached between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League, as he said they have moved positions in terms of the presidential issue.

In the 6 October elections, the Vetevendosje Movement has come first, followed by the LDK.

These two parties are negotiating about 3 months to form the ruling coalition, but have had differences in power sharing. The LDK, aside from the top parliament, is also seeking the president who will be elected in 2021. That requirement is constantly rejecting the Vetevendosje Movement.
