Ahmeti, though until the middle of this week was part of the NFF, has pressed many charges towards this institution. One of them was the holiday of former Kosovo Prime Minister Kadri Wessel, with footballers from the National of Kosovo, broadcasts Periscopi.

Asked about the political intervention at the NFF, Ahmeti replied:
The best thing for you to do is to refer to recent statements from the Kosovo Football Federation, where these call politics and the state to intervene, as they say from the attacks. What attacks? I don't know what attacks, unless they refer to members of clubs, delegates.
Politics is in full service of Agim Ademi. It's been seen and proven. You know better. Let's not talk about what they did to the National. Even marketing has been meant for individuals or certain parties”, Ahmeti said, alluding to the Festival of Kadri Wessel's footballists who made a fuss months ago.
Otherwise, Kosovo football leaders had argued Wessel's holiday with the players, taking into account that he represented the Kosovo Parliament and the position of chief parliamentmen.
Festivals similar to football players at the time had been held by Croatia's president, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic. The latter received much praise, which took time to celebrate with Croatian players in the strippers.
