In Elbasan, the weather has caused difficulties in the flow of vehicles on a number of road axes. On the Elbasan-Librazhd-Qafe road axis, the road said, has been blocked from time to time as a result of falling rocks and inerts from the mountains.
Some secondary roads linking villages with urban centres have been flooded.
The vast amount of rainfall has increased the flow on the river Shkumbin and Devwall.
The storm has also affected the capital, where trees have been felled in some areas.
The storm has caused floods and roadblocks in the Gjirokastra district, where the city's entry route and an apartment in Dunav district is flooded. Because of the fall of the trees, there was also some time when the national ice cream was blocked.
The situation also appears in coastal areas. The strong wind has increased waves on the coast, causing Saranda, Durres and Vlora to completely suspend sea navigation.
As a result of bad weather, the ferry to Brindisi-Vlora line was docked at the port after 14 hours at sea.
Also, the two Bar-Durra ferry boats have arrived three hours late at the port.
Besides problems at sea, bad weather has made it impossible to continue the Flamurtar-Teuta match, which was interrupted by flooding in the stadium.
Sinoptics say bad weather will be present at the beginning of the week. Tuesday will bring reductions in rainfall, but low temperatures will run to -5 °C.
