On November 8th 2010, the European Union's Council of Justice and Interior Ministers approved visa liberalisation for Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina at noon. This decision paves the way for the Albanian free movement of the 27 Schengen zone countries.
This was a historic event for Albanians, even though there is a series of conditions to be respected. An Albanian citizen cannot stay in the Schengen space for more than 90 days for 180 calendar days.
