Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has shared details from the meeting he had in Paris with the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, with the mediation of French head of state Emmanuel Macron, and in which it has been discussed about the resumption of the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue.
Vucic claims that at that meeting he has accused Thaci of lying, as Kosovo has not fulfilled the obligations made by the Brussels agreement that was signed between the two states in 2013.
Even the head of the Serbian state says that after this accusation against Thaci, he has even turned to Macroni, saying he doesn't mind saying something like that,
I told him, you're not telling the truth. You have not fulfilled your pledge. And I told Macroni- you see I'm saying this to him in his face and I don't mind saying”, Vuciq said, writes B92.
The Serbian president has already indicated that he has told Macroni that with this approach it will be very difficult to meet something (any agreement) in the future.
As Vuciq claims, this situation has helped Macron himself, who has said he will see what can be done in the future in this regard.
As Serbian media have reported, this meeting between Vuciqi and Thaci in Paris is made after the phone call Donald Trump made to France's president.
Dialogue between the two sides has been the empty subject of this discussion. Thaci has said Kosovo is for an agreement that, as a final result, brings mutual recognition, while Vuciq has indicated that Emmanuel Macron is planning a meeting in January 2020 after the government is established in Kosovo.
