Vuciqi, in an interview for German prestige, “Der Spiegel”, has said to represent Albania as well as a meeting last week.
“I was with the prime ministers of Albania and Northern Macedonia at the Ohrid summit, and we agreed on almost every point, including for me to speak to Macron on behalf of all of us, as I did last week”, he said in this interview, broadcast Koha.net.
On the other hand, Vuciqi also spoke of many other topics, while the project for “Mini-Schengen Balkan” named it the best project of the last three decades.
When asked whether even Kosovo will be part of this project, Vuciqi said: “Kosovars do not know what they want. Albin Kurti, who is likely to be their new leader, seems to once want to become the leader of great Albania. Kosovo views itself as a state, but we don't view it as being. But we can do good work together”.
Vuciqi said his position not to recognise Kosovo within the existing borders is not much defined.
It's true that my attitude is not clearly defined. If it were perfectly clear, we would close the door to any negotiations, as Kosovars always do. I want to keep the possibility of compromise open. And for that, I am disappointed by my fellow countrymen like the work of former Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, who is the greatest traitor of all time”, the Serbian president declared in this interview.
