Thaci decrees new AKI chief

President Hashim Thaci and the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, have appointed the new Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Kresnik Gashi, as well as for the AKI General Inspector Burim Ramadanin. President Hashim Thaci and the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, have appointed the new Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Kresnik Gashi, as well as for the AKI General Inspector Burim Ramadanin.
This decision is made based on Article 84, paragraph 21 based on Article 94, paragraph 8, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”, the Presidency's announcement said.
Meanwhile, incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj suggested he has named Kreshnik Gashi to the post of AKI director, meanwhile Burim Ramadani has been named General Inspector in AKI.
So announce Haradinaj in FBiH:
On the basis of constitutional and legal competencies and co-ordination with the president, today I have appointed Kreshnik Gashi to the post of director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, while Burim Ramadanin at the post of AKI General Inspector. The profiles of the appointed, such as the public figure of integrity and experts for security, guarantee AKI professionalism and credibility.
