Police elaborate on measures taken for the development of Albania-French match

Albania's police say they will take a series of technical and organisational measures in a wider area than the stadium's peripheral, with the aim of securing order and public security before, during and after the international football match, aimed not only at maintaining sports activity but also at creating a safe and secure environment for citizens inside the stadium and the city of Tirana.

“Under these envisioned measures, we inform the citizens of Tirana and not only, local fans, the one coming from other trains and the fans of France's team, who will attend the match at the “National Arena” Stadium, that for the normal management of sports activity, some preventative and restrictive measures will be taken on the flow and parking vehicles in the vicinity of the stadium and in related roadblocks: For moving vehicles in the area near the stadium “National Arena”, only the “road axes of Elbasan” and the ring, in both directions of its movement. On all the access roads in this area, traffic will not be permitted. Parking and standing of vehicles in the area above will not be allowed. All vehicles that are parked inside the area above are expected to leave by 12:11.2019. Automables authorized by the Albanian Football Federation must be equipped with distinguishing marks in the front window and will be entered through the “Nation witnesses”, at the Lana Bridge, University Book and Presidency, with a direction towards “Place Square, Teresa” UT Rectorate. At this point the control of all vehicles will become their anti-explosive control. For vehicle parking in the city of Tirana, these countries will be used: Cars coming from Elbasan: buses will be parked in the local square “Calvin”, while autovements in parking lot near the Economic Faculty. Cars coming from the Durres Street: buses will be parked at the former customs, while cars at the parking lot near Sport Palace “Aslan Russia”, as well as the underground parking lot in “Skender Behem” Cars coming from the “Cavaja Route”: buses will be parked in the Qyt Towns of Students, while autovets in the parking lot near the “Seman Sterrmasi”, reportedly on police announcement.

For the management of sports activity, police say they will block from 17:30 to the entire area around the stadium “National Arena”, and for this, checkpoints will be set up to navigate fans so that according to ticket sectors they can head for entrance to the stadium and specifically:

We seek the understanding of sportsmen who will participate in this activity, in respecting and implementing these measures, as well as ticketing equipment and identification documents, while at the same time avoiding carrying and introducing the stadiums of hard objects, trumpets, bottles of whatever, fireworks, coins, or metal items, as all will be physically controlled. The vehicles authorized by the FAF for parking in underground parking around the stadium will also be searched at the entrance to the checkpoint. We inform Albanian citizens that the changes in the KOdin Penal are in force, under which criminal acts envisioned in Article 274/a “Sportsman, coach, referee, sports mediator” are classified, and sentenced to up to three years of imprisonment, as well as considered criminal work “violent actions in sports activities”, envisioned at Article 274/b, as entry into the field of playing, during sports activity development, preventing physical activity, throwing strong items on the range of playing or using people, whether they use them, fireworks, fireworks, sports events, and events, and events in the event of the event of the event of the event.
