Martyr children still without obelisk, family members warn indictment of Serbia

In view of the eternal memory of the 1432 children of martyrs, killed and massacred by fascist Serbia in the period of 1981 - 1999, there was the inauguration of the 423 - foot - long [3 m] obelisk, which was placed in advertising space in front of Pristina International Airport <x0).

The designer of the complex and obelisk, Rhezart Galica, said that the international children's rights day note would be good to do at Kosovo's “martyred children “, but according to him the Kosovo institutions have not been willing to unlock and build this project as it has been from the beginning of thought, so this has been suspended and hopes that next year be completed.

Xhavit Muqolli, a family whose Serbian occupation killed her four-year-old daughter, Eronita and 2-year-old Fatosin, hopes this project will be realised and will not remain on paper alone.

He said Kosovo's martyr children deserve to have a memorial complex where they could remember family members.

“Today, we have come here to set up or set up billboards, which would be good to be done with the project even though very delayed we hope not to remain alone on paper, we ask the government to at least invest and push forward the project, which is the personal initiative of Nusret Pllana”, said Muqolli.

He thanked Professor Nusret Plana for the initiative to build the memorial complex.

Co-ordination Council of Missing Persons and War Crimes Chairman Ahmet Gajqevci said it is a very good idea from Professor Nusret Plana, and urged local institutions to deal with this issue not to leave it solely in the hands of humanists.
