Some cyber fraud posted a fake BBC website featuring an article about Ferguson's participation in a cryptade conference.
Next to the picture, it says how Ferguson made a fortune with crypto notes. While it is easy to discern fraud, some users thought that everything is okay with the website and that there was no advertising.
The purpose of the article was to click the link under the picture, which leads directly to Bitcoin Revolution.
